Hamilton’s Successful Blanket Drive

Hamilton Community Health Network just wrapped up a very successful and heartwarming blanket drive that ended in the donation of about 350 blankets to local charities. Hamilton wanted to honor the season of giving and hosted the blanket drive to bring the gift of warmth to those that needed it. We are honored and grateful to say that not only did we reach our goal of 100 blankets to donate, but we more than tripled the amount of donations!

Mr. Clarence Pierce, CEO of Hamilton, saw the need for a blanket donation in the city of Flint. The homeless population are already struggling with enough, they shouldn’t have to worry about how they are staying warm too. “We wanted to do a type of giveaway for our Homeless community. This year we decided to go with the blankets because when you are out on the streets or in need… we felt blankets would be a good way to go [to do that],” said Mr. Pierce in an interview with ABC12.

Hamilton is so beyond grateful to those that donated, from staff members to local church communities, to Hamilton patients, and more! Thank you all for making a difference this winter and giving back to the community and keeping people warm. We are so thankful to have a community of people who support each other.

Have a very happy and healthy Holiday!
