FLINT, MICH. (March 2, 2026): The Flint Area (MI) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated will hosts its annual Black Family Wellness Expo at Hamilton Community Health Network’s Main clinic (2900 N. Saginaw St., Flint, 48505) on Friday, March 20th, 2026. This year’s event continues the longstanding mission of promoting health equity by offering families access to vital health resources, education, and community support.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free health screenings, flu and COVID vaccinations, assistance with health insurance enrollment, Rx Kids Flint enrollment, and learn more about the broad range of medical, dental, and behavioral health services offered at Hamilton.

For more than 46 years, The Flint Area Links have worked to strengthen and uplift families across Genesee County. Their leadership team continues to recognize the growing need for accessible care and preventive services.
“Through our community work, we’ve seen that many families are not getting the regular medical care or screenings they need,” said Karen Pugh, President of the Flint Area (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. “By partnering with Hamilton and our community partners, we’re creating a one-stop event where people can connect to essential resources. We’ll also be offering giveaways, including gift cards, a large-screen TV, a car seat, and more for families who attend.”
Representatives from several local and statewide organizations will be onsite, including Rx Kids, Black K.A.R.E., Molina Healthcare, Meridian, Flint Registry, YWCA Greater Flint, G.H.O.S.T, Mott Community College, Smith Fisher Real Estate Group, and others.
