Winter Warm-Up at Hamilton Community Health Network

Hamilton Community Health Network will be giving Health Resources, Cold Weather Items and COVID-19 Vaccinations at Winter Warm-Up

The harsh Michigan winter is approaching and Molina Healthcare along with Carriage Town Ministries Catholic Charities Center for Hope and Hamilton Community Health Network are coming together to provide health and cold weather resources for the community residents of Flint, Michigan for its “Winter Warm-Up” event.

Saturday, November 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, starting at Carriage Town Ministries, residents will be able to receive coats, blankets, and personal hygiene items. At Catholic Charities Center for Hope, there will be free haircuts, hoodies, giveaways, and food. There will also be COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations for adults and children 5 years and up. At Catholic Charities Center for Hope, Nurse Practitioner, Lynda McDonald of Hamilton Community Health Network will be administering the vaccinations, while Hamilton Outreach Coordinators Tim McCarron and Mildred Silva pass out other cold weather and health items.

Molina Healthcare is the presenting sponsor for this event but some of its contributors helping make all of this possible are American Red Cross, CrimFit Nutrition, Kettering University, Donations with Love, Hill Road Baptist Church, and more.
