National Health Center Week is just around the corner, and we are preparing to celebrate with a week of free events focused on health, wellness, and community connections throughout Genesee County and Whitmore Lake.
Observed annually across the country, National Health Center Week recognizes the important role community health centers play in increasing access to affordable, high-quality healthcare. This year’s theme, “Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most,” highlights how community health centers continue to meet evolving community needs while expanding access to care and improving health outcomes.
As a federally qualified health center, Hamilton provides comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to more than 24,000 patients each year, regardless of their ability to pay. Throughout National Health Center Week, community members are invited to connect with healthcare providers, learn about available services and resources, and celebrate healthier communities together.

Celebrating Community Health Centers
National Health Center Week is more than a series of community events. It is a time to recognize the critical role community health centers play in improving access to care, reducing health disparities, and strengthening the communities they serve. Through primary care, behavioral health services, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, and community outreach programs, Hamilton remains committed to providing innovative, patient-centered care where it matters most.
Community members are encouraged to attend one or all the week’s events and learn more about the resources available through Hamilton Community Health Network.
